TWN Systems is a small infrastructure team based in Launceston, Tasmania. We trade as TWN Group Pty Ltd (ABN 78 690 582 275). We build, host, and support cloud platforms for Australian customers who want their data and workloads to stay in Australia.

tasmanian.cloud is a sovereign cloud platform built on open-source components:

• KVM virtual machines (VPS) with full root access.
• S3-compatible object storage powered by RustFS for archives, backups, and application data.
• Managed Kubernetes and vCluster environments for teams running container workloads.
• Templates, Terraform modules, and Ansible playbooks for infrastructure-as-code provisioning.

Australian organisations are increasingly required to keep regulated data inside Australia. The Privacy Act, the Hosting Certification Framework, and the Information Security Manual all reward keeping data and the people operating the infrastructure under Australian jurisdiction. Hyperscale providers can promise data residency, but the platforms above the storage layer — control planes, support staff, lawful access regimes — remain elsewhere.

tasmanian.cloud is built on open-source components, operated by an Australian team, and run on Australian hardware. The architecture is documented end-to-end so customers can audit what they depend on.

Our infrastructure runs on Australian hardware in Australian facilities. We provide onsite service across Northern Tasmania, and remote support statewide and interstate. Customers anywhere in Australia can run workloads on tasmanian.cloud and reach a human in our timezone.
